Has anyone else notice how the speed limits in the UK seem to have dropped, I do a lot of driving on ‘A’ roads and the like, and the amount of times I get stuck behind ‘people’ driving along at 40 mph (or less) oblivious to the world.
For gawds sake the limit is 60 unless otherwise stated.
Do you people not have homes to go to ? get a move on . . .
On a side note, I’ve lost count the number of times I’ve been stuck behind someone at 40 in a 60 limit, when we’ve crossed the boundary into a 30 limit, and they don’t slow down, it’s as if they are in a trance, stuck at 40 wherever they go.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’ve no problem with anyone who wants to drive at a more leisurely pace, but if you have a queue of cars behind you who obviously want to get past, let them, just pull over and let them past, it’s not hard is it ?

Where I live there are a number of short maybe about 1 mile in length pieces of dual carriageway, that in turn lead onto roundabouts, why do so many people sit in the fast lane for the whole mile doing 40 mph GET OUT OF THE WAY!!! YOU inconsiderate B******D’S

It’s been a bad day so last rant! Dual carriageways onto roundabouts where the inside lane is turn left only. The right hand side lane always has a long queue of cars to go either straight on or right. This would be fine if people would actually pull out, instead of waiting for some sort of invitation to do so from a higher being.
